Sugeeswara P. Senadhira Sugeeswara P. Senadhira is Associate Director of Regional Centre for Strategic Studies, Colombo and Colombo Correspondent for Newsweek. A broadcaster-journalist, Senadhira was Editor of The Independent, Colombo, Editorial Consultant of The Weekend Express, Colombo and News Director of MTV/MBC, Colombo. He was Head of the Sinhala Unit of All India Radio, New Delhi for 10 years. He also served in the Sri Lankan Diplomatic Service. He was Second Secretary (1983-1987) and Counsellor-Information (1994) in the Sri Lanka High Commission, New Delhi. He is a Press Fellow of Wolfson College, University of Cambridge. His publications include President Jayewardene's International and Domestic Policies (1985) and Under Siege: Mass Media in Sri Lanka (1996). | |||
